Access & Pricing¶
Who can use it today¶
FolioX MCP is in controlled rollout. Any authenticated FolioX credential in an enabled organization can connect; organizations are enabled by FolioX. If you'd like agent access for your team, talk to your FolioX contact.
Under the hood the server supports per-organization enablement: when rollout gating is active, tool calls from organizations that haven't been enabled receive a clear "not enabled for this account" response — nothing about your data is ever exposed before enablement.
What access includes¶
- The full dispatch tool surface (see the Tools Reference) for every user in your organization, governed by their existing FolioX roles.
- Interactive use (claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, …) via OAuth — each user acts as themselves.
- Machine use via your customer API keys — for your own automations, scheduled jobs, and backend integrations.
- The same tenancy, audit, and permission guarantees as the FolioX app: every action an agent takes is attributed and auditable, and writes carry the human-confirmation gates described in Write Safety.
Pricing¶
During the rollout phase, MCP access is included with your FolioX subscription — there is no separate charge for connecting your team's AI assistants.
Usage is metered per organization (tool calls by tool, by day) so that if high-volume machine usage warrants a usage-based component later, it will be transparent and based on numbers you can see. Any future pricing change will be communicated ahead of time — nothing changes retroactively.
For heavy automation users
If you plan sustained high-volume API-key traffic (thousands of tool calls per day), tell your FolioX contact so capacity and rate limits can be provisioned for your tenant.
Requesting capabilities¶
If your agents need something the tool surface doesn't cover, two channels:
- Agents themselves can (and are instructed to) call
report_missing_capability— these reports go directly into the tool roadmap review. - Humans: your FolioX contact, with the use case.
